Hi David,
It’s Daley, co-creator of Brodie’s Law. We met last year at the Birmingham comic expo and you told me about your documentary by channel 4 called ”The Last Slave”.
My cousin just sent me an email, to inform me it will be broadcast on Channel 4 at 8pm on Sunday March 11th. And I remebered you told me about it and thought I should drop you a line. Looking forward to it and hope to see you soon, maybe at Bristol Comic Expo in May if you’re coming.

Hi there David
Me & my comichound son Theo met you at Bristol & Birmingham last year. [We live in sunny Brighton].
Maybe you remember us?
Anyway the family [wife Sal & twins Nina & Theo] just watched ‘The Last Slave’. Well done for making such an interesting & thought provoking programme. The National gallery built on slavery , those shackles & brands etc, – you kind of know some of it, but its still so shocking. Thanks for that.
& thanks for Geek syndicate podcasts too – [Sal & Nina not so interested in those!]
Keep up the geek work
We’ll be at Bristol this year so maybe see you there

Hi David
Tried to text you after seeing “The Last Slave” but didn’t work – I msut have the wrong number. Very thought provoking although I got the feeling a few things got left out and made the journey “lighter” than it was. It would be good to get in touch. Email me and I will give you my number. Send greetings to Matt and Corri.
Blessings

Greetings Mates!
MAAT here. I love you guys! I heard your Spiderman 3 non- review review and I laughed my arse off!!!! I was brushing my teeth while listening and nearly spit my toothpaste all over my mirror!!! Even a short podcast from you two is better than waiting for the full thing. To hell with the Sony Ninjas! Spill the info!!! I promise not to tell anyone! It will be between just you and me… I heard your last podcast and I felt bad. I know that I do not want to ever hear you guys sing stardust, but I don’t want you to stop singing other songs. Thanks for playing the real stardust. We really need to link up. I believe we now have the ability to do that now. Contact me or Dafixer at the website and we can do this! I want to get my Geek on Ninja! Peace!

MAAT here again. I forgot to let you know that you were correct. I would leave you lying bloody face down in the gutter for those Spiderman 3 tickets! I hate you guys!! I am going to sign off before I get too far into those homicidal thoughts… I wonder if Sony is hiring…hmmmm… I would look great in a ninja suit…

Hey, I heard you guys on the CGS show and checked out your podcast. Fan-Frigin-tastic! I laughed like an idiot, my co-workers wanted to know if I was ok. Loved the Star Wars episode, especially the part about Anakin’s mom dying from a cut to the face. I’m looking forward to listening to all the previous episodes I missed and ones yet to come. Get your geek on ninja!

Hey Guys! I’m the co-worker of Mike’s who usually has to check and see if he’s okay. He’s like a large Man-child who wanders off sometimes. Anyway, he and I have become huge fans of yours. It’s great listening to someone talk about things so dear to my heart as I sit in the midst of the great arid expanse of my job. I esp. loved your show on Swords and Sorcery. My list of movies would have been just about identical, and I wanted to yell “Oh yeah!” when you talked about Excaliber. That was one of the fundimental turning points of my childhood, man. That and Raiders. David, I love your taste in books! Have you read anything by Robert Holdstock? He wrote the Mythago Wood stuff. Totally brilliant writer…

Forgot to add that on your fantasy movie list you should have added Ridley Scott’s “Legend”. I think it’s been sadly disregarded.

Hi-
My podcast (Galactica Quorum) was a fellow nominee in the podcast awards Entertainment category… one of the nice things about the awards is finding so many other great podcasts. We’ve encouraged our listeners to go check out some of the nominated podcasts in the various categories and genres, and mentioned a few specifically as sort of an informal cross-promotional thing. We’re happy to give your podcast a plug, and if you’d like to reciprocate that would be great, and if not, that’s OK too.
Keep up the great work!

Hi guys, heard the podcast today, re: Eleventh Hour #2 , good stuff!
Thanks for the mention (the name’s pronounced `y at’ as in `Wyatt’ Earp! (not a cowboy though!.. maybe the odd sheep! Ha!)
And yes, you saw it coming in Danick and the Dragon…but you still would if you met her, you know you would!
Cheers,
Simon (…as in Pieman, though not as simple!)

We spoke at BICS 2007 briefly – I was the girl in the pink tiara! hehe. Sorry it’s taken me so long to get here.

Bucky O’Hare was a Neal Adams creation, I believe. It sucked here in America. I’m assuming the suckage spread to the UK as well.
